Most days and for the last 5 years, Dawn can be found smiling through the pedals and stems behind the floral counter. It’s obvious that she is quite comfortable there and with good reason. Dawn grew up in the floral industry. Her parents ran a floral shop in Fremont, NE where she grew up. When they moved to Lincoln, Dawn ran their floral & bridal shop with them while doing freelance floral on the side.
Her accomplishments include the Nebraska Florists Society 2006 Hall of Fame and a Nebraska Master Florist designation from the Nebraska Academy of Floral Designers.
However, ask anyone who’s ever stood on the opposite side of that floral counter, they will tell you, Dawn’s greatest talent is not her design skill, it is her ear. She has this ability to really hear what you’re describing when you come in looking for the perfect way to express yourself. With 35 years in the business Dawn has learned a great deal.
