Annual AWG “Take the Cake” Challenge

Competed against the best decorators in the KC area

We won 3 out of the 4 awards given out

The theme was “Nursery Rhymes”

Kylie Couillard did “I saw a ship a sailing”

And Jodei Oltman did “Hey Diddle Diddle”

 

Decorators were judged on the following criteria:

 

WORK COMPLETED IN ALLOWED TIME
ORIGINALITY AND CREATIVITY OF THEME
USE OF COLOR
DIFFICULTY OF TECHNIQUE USED
NEATNESS OF CAKE COVERING
WORKMANSHIP DETAIL AND DESIGN
PRESENTATION OF DISPLAY
