The buses were packed full! In some cases, we even had to call and ask for additional buses!

Thanks to you 12 buses were filled!

We have been working closely with the Salvation Army to determine what is needed most and where the greatest needs are. Thank you to the Salvation Army for all of your hard work and a HUGE Thank You to Cornhusker International Trucks for coordinating and providing the trucks needed to get this massive job accomplished and off to je people who need it.

STUFF THE BUS RESULTS

12 BUSES OF PRODUCT AND OVER $43,000 RAISED FOR FLOOD RELIEF

LINCOLN, Neb. — April 10, 2019 — The Lincoln Super Saver and Russ’s Markets raised $43,130 for Nebraska Flood Relief in a recent Round Up promotion at ten locations. Customers of the stores also donated 12 busloads of product in conjunction with Cornhusker International Trucks.

The Stuff the Bus event took place starting on Tuesday, March 19th and ran through Friday, March 22nd. Cornhusker International Trucks shipped the product to the Salvation Army for dispersal.

In addition to the Fill the Bus event, each Lincoln Russ’s Market and Super Saver location executed a Round Up at the check lanes. Customers were able to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar and the proceeds went to the Salvation Army and directed to Nebraska flood relief. The round up started on Tuesday, March 19th and went through Sunday, April 7th.
