I buy an Angel Food Cake from the Russ’s Market bakery, they mix & bake them from scratch each morning so they taste homemade and when I need a quick dessert or something to bring to a dinner it takes no time at all.

  1. Cut the cake into bite size pieces (I try to make them as square as possible).
  2. Wash & remove stems from strawberries.
  3. Skewer the cake & strawberries on a bamboo skewer.
  4. Melt almond bark & drizzle lightly over the kabobs or pick up Melissa’s Dessert sauces in the produce dept. I tried Chocolate & White Chocolate. If using the the dessert sauces, serve right away. If using almond bark, they can sit refrigerated for quite awhile.

That’s it!

Have you tried these or something like it? Try marshmallows on the ends or different fruits to add some color. Torin suggests Peeps but I’m just not sure I could stab the little guys
