The Russ’s Way Community Service Award recognizes associates who exemplify the generosity of community spirit and volunteer outreach by following in the footsteps of Russ Raybould. Russ believed strongly in giving back to the community and the people where we do business. The award recognizes associates and thanks them for their contributions to making our communities a better place to live, work and play, according to our Russ’s Market Mission Statement.

We are honored to present the 2015 Russ’s Way Award to Chris Nealy.

Chris has been active with the Lincoln East Rotary Club for more than seven years and is a recipient of the Rotary Service Recognition Award. He volunteers at the Memorial Stadium concession stand on football Saturday, rings bells for the Salvation Army, volunteers for Lincoln Parks & Recreation’s SumFun Day Camp for Children with intellectual and physical disabilities and, most recently, spearheaded fundraising efforts for local cancer survivor Katie Kennell-Langan.

Chris was awarded a trophy, 2 days off with pay and a $1,000 contribution to the charity of his choice.
